Each station offers a distinct mood – from playful to contemplative – inviting you to heighten your senses and reflect on themes of transition\, transformation\, and the unknown.  \nPSYCHOPOMP is a fully outdoor\, all-weather experience. Join San Francisco gardeners Carey Craddock and Jordan Kushins for this spirited introduction to botanicals\, including: how to preserve a variety of flowers and herbs in simple syrups\, vinegar shrubs\, salts\, and infusions; and how to use garden garnishes to make your cocktails\, low-ABV\, and non-alcoholic refreshers taste amazing (and look fantastic!).  \nEveryone will leave this hands-on session with their own custom botanical creations\, and inspiration to experiment making delicious drinks. \nAbout the Grow + Make Series\nThis is part two of a four-part Grow + Make series led by Carey and Jordan this year. You are encouraged to bring extra layers. \nTake part in a 75-minute beginner/intermediate Hatha Vinyasa Yoga class led by Sola Habibi. Sola creates a welcoming container for students to feel seen\, cared for\, and deeply connected. Students can expect thoughtful sequencing to enhance focus\, balance\, resilience\, and flexibility\, as well as breath work\, and philosophy to connect deeper to the yogic tradition. DESCRIPTION:Wednesday\, May 13\, 2026\n5:30-6:30pm\nSan Francisco Botanical Garden — Garden of Fragrance \nAbout the Program\n \nPlease bring appropriate layers to this program — especially clothing to keep your head and hands warm — to account for unpredictable springtime temperatures. \nRelax and recharge at the end of the work day! \nSometimes referred to as ‘Chinese’ Yoga\, Qigong is a practice of energy cultivation that promotes optimal health\, vitality and longevity. Using Movement\, Breath\, Meditation and Self-Applied Massage we relax our minds and bodies\, break up stagnation and facilitate the movement of Qi (energy) throughout the body to optimize health\, cultivate vitality and build health resiliency. By initiating the relaxation response\, Qigong practice is proven to reduce the effects of stress and activate natural healing mechanisms. We may incorporate movements from a variety of traditions with an emphasis on the whole-body circular and spiral movements in Wild Goose Qigong sets. \nNo prior experience is necessary. Beginners are welcome to join. Please wear weather-appropriate comfortable clothing and shoes. \nAbout the Instructor\nRebecca has had a life-long interest in health\, fitness\, movement and the mind-body connection. She has been practicing Qigong for more than 15 years and is a certified Integral Qigong & Tai Chi Instructor (Institute of Integral Qigong & Tai Chi) and Wild Goose Qigong Instructor (Dr. Bingkun Hu).
