About the Program
Sometimes referred to as ‘Chinese’ Yoga, Qigong is a practice of energy cultivation that promotes optimal health, vitality and longevity. Using Movement, Breath, Meditation and Self-Applied Massage we relax our minds and bodies, break up stagnation and facilitate the movement of Qi (energy) throughout the body to optimize health, cultivate vitality and build health resiliency. By initiating the relaxation response, Qigong practice is proven to reduce the effects of stress and activate natural healing mechanisms. We may incorporate movements from a variety of traditions with an emphasis on the whole-body circular and spiral movements in Wild Goose Qigong sets.
No prior experience is necessary. Beginners are welcome to join. Please wear weather-appropriate comfortable clothing and shoes.
