Unlimited free admission for two members (and two guests) and children under 18, plus pre-sale access and discounts on Garden Camp and Garden After-School programs.
Garden Lover$180
All the benefits of the Family/Dual membership, plus
- Two complimentary one-day admission passes to all three gardens for unaccompanied guests
- Priority ticketing for seasonal events

- Thank you for supporting the Gardens! If you’d like to visit the Gardens before receiving your membership card, you’re welcome to use your purchase confirmation email as proof of membership. Our Visitor Experience staff can also look up your membership in our system.
- Your digital membership card will typically arrive by email within three days. During busier seasons, processing may take a bit longer—but if you need access sooner, we’re happy to help with time-sensitive requests. Contact us at membership@gggp.org or call 415 -661-1316 x302.
- Note: If you opted to receive a paper membership card(s), it will arrive by mail within 3–4 weeks.
Please make sure to bring your active digital or physical membership card, or a photo ID matching the name on your membership. You can learn more about how to access your digital membership here.
- Your membership is valid for one year from the end of the month of purchase. Two months prior to the expiration of your Membership, you will receive a renewal notice from the Gardens. When you renew, we will extend your membership for 12 months beyond your current expiration date.

- To help reduce our environmental impact, Gardens of Golden Gate Park is a digital-first organization. All members receive a digital membership card that can be easily access via your mobile device.

- Yes, absolutely! All members are welcome to bring one guest for free on every visit. We love when you share the Gardens with friends and family.
- If you have a Family/Dual membership and above, all youth under 18 are included at no extra cost. Children under 4 always receive free general admission and don’t count toward your guest total, so the little ones are always welcome.
- Garden Lover membership and above receive complimentary guest passes to share with family and friends.
- All members enjoy free or discounted tickets to Gardens programs, including classes, walks, and events.
- To access member pricing on select offerings, you can either log in to your member profile or use a members-only promo code. You’ll find the promo code in your membership confirmation email. If you can’t locate it, feel free to contact us at membership@gggp.org—we’re happy to help.
- Your Member Login gives you access to an exclusive member profile page on our online ticketing site. Once login, you can update your contact information, view your donation history, manage your membership, and unlock member-only perks like pre-sale or discounted event registration.

- Yes, you can pay for your membership using your donor advised fund (DAF) and IRA charitable distribution. Gardens of Golden Gate Park is a 501c3 nonprofit organization, tax ID 94-6050168. All memberships are fully tax-deductible allowed by law.
- Recommend Gardens of Golden Gate Park as the grant recipient and provide your name as the grant advisor. Please indicate that you wish to renew your Gardens membership, and include your name and member number (if known). Once you request the grant, please contact us at membership@gggp.org or call 415 -661-1316 x302 to let us know you requested it. We will make sure to process it as a membership once we receive your donation.
- Note that our public/private partnership agreement with San Francisco Recreation & Parks prevents us from accepting grants made anonymously.

Membership cards are non-transferable and can’t be lent out. Family/Dual level and above allow you to add a second named member to your membership so both of you can enjoy everything the Gardens offer.
