Member Magnolia Moonlight Walk
Friday, February 27, 2026
6-7pm & 7-8pm (2 guided sessions)
San Francisco Botanical Garden — meet at Main Gate
About the Program
Enjoy a member-exclusive, after-hours discovery tour of the San Francisco Botanical Garden led by our staff team. Discover glowing Magnolia blooms and tree silhouettes against the moonlight, experience the fragrance of blooming plants, and listen to the sounds of the night. Using red lights to keep our night vision intact, we’ll see what plant details emerge once the sunlight has faded.
Two guided sessions are available:
• 6–7pm
• 7–8pm
The trail is roughly one mile long. For everyone’s safety, you must be able to walk the full route and stick with your group, as we will be navigating the Botanical Garden with limited to no light. Due to the dark conditions and uneven terrain, this experience may not be suitable for infants or young children, and portions of the trail are not stroller accessible.
Don’t miss this rare opportunity to get the inside scoop on the Magnificent Magnolias collection and experience the Garden in an entirely new light! Space is limited. Heavy rain cancels.
