Whimsical Flowers: Painting at the Conservatory

Entrance to the Conservatory of Flowers is included with your ticket. The Orchid Pavilion itself does not contain greenery.

About the Program

In this guided mixed media workshop, you will paint your own, one-of-a-kind, 4″x6″ textured floral masterpieces on paper—no experience needed, just a willingness to play and get a little messy!

You will learn how to make textured vases on paper in a unique style of layering paint, and paint florals to complete it in unexpected ways. Each attendee will leave with a unique artwork to take home! No two artworks will look the same. The focus will be on the relaxing process, which assures the end result is fascinating.

Program Details:

• All shared art supplies are provided and included in the ticket price.
• Frames will be available to purchase on the spot (optional).
• Beginner-friendly class, all skill levels are welcome! Lots of room to play and improvise.
• Attendees will take home their own final creation.
• Meet fellow creatives, and afterwards enjoy the flora and fauna of the Conservatory.
• Please leave pets and non-participating children at home.
• The process involves paint, which may get on hands and clothes. Dress accordingly.

About the Artist

Arshla is a San Francisco floral artist specializing in textured and mixed media techniques. She has perfected this art style over the years and has sold over 400+ of these mini floral paintings and hosted 200+ attendees to teach this art style. Follow more about her on her website.
