The Conservatory of Flowers offers rentals for a wide range of events–whether you’re booking a corporate event, hosting a cocktail party, or planning your wedding or 25th-anniversary party, the Conservatory of Flowers is the most unique historical site in the Bay Area. This historic facility, located in Golden Gate Park, boasts five exhibit spaces with exotic plants and flowers from all over the world. Each gallery showcases unique plants and flowers, custom metalwork, and architectural beauty throughout the building.

Availability
At the Conservatory of Flowers, weddings may be held year-round, daily, with rentals beginning after we close to the public.
Pricing
For a quote, please complete the event inquiry form. To book your date, we require a site visit, a signed rental contract, and a 50% deposit.

Event Rental Options
Micro-Ceremony
Up to 50 people can be seated in the West Gallery. Includes chairs and setup. No food or beverage is permitted. Available after the Conservatory closes to the public.
Outdoor Ceremony Only
Located on the Palm Terrace, this area can accommodate a ceremony with up to 200 people. After your ceremony, enjoy the Conservatory Galleries for photos and casual viewing of the plants. Tenting, and food and beverage is not permitted. Available after the Conservatory closes to the public.
Reception Only
Up to 4-hours, not including setup and loadout. Includes the Conservatory Galleries for a standing cocktail reception, or for daytime events – casual viewing. The Orchid Pavilion is the primary event space available for meetings, a seated dinner with up to 150, dancing, or a standing reception with up to 200.
Buyout
Up to 6-hours, not including setup and loadout. Includes the Palm Terrace for an outdoor ceremony and/or seated dinner, the Conservatory Galleries for a standing cocktail reception, and the Orchid Pavilion for a seated dinner and dancing, or a standing reception with up to 200. Available after the Conservatory closes to the public.
Conservatory of Flowers FAQ
The Conservatory’s main event space. Located on the east side of the Conservatory, the Orchid Pavilion is ideal for sit-down dinners, or meetings of up to 150, or standing receptions with up to 200.
The Conservatory of Flowers is wheelchair accessible for both motorized and non-motorized chairs. We also have two non-motorized wheelchairs in the ticket booth, which visitors may use (*at their own risk) on a first-come, first-served basis. Handicap-accessible parking spots are available on Nancy Pelosi Drive and Bowling Green Drive.
The Golden Gate Park Shuttle is a free shuttle that stops on John F. Kennedy Drive in front of the Conservatory and offers access to the eastern half of Golden Gate Park with stops along JFK Drive, at the Music Concourse near the Japanese Tea Garden and SF Botanical Garden. The shuttle is accessible and operates 7 days per week, on Monday to Friday from 12 noon to 6:00 pm, and Saturday, Sundays and holidays from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. Yes!
Yes. Our pre-approved caterers are well-versed in our policies and procedures and are licensed and insured. If our pre-approved caterer cannot accommodate a dietary requirement, we will consider, and if appropriate, approve an outside vendor. An off-list catering fee may apply.
The serving of food and beverage is limited in the Conservatory galleries. Seated dinners are accommodated in the Orchid Pavilion or open air on the Palm Terrace and Conservatory Lawns.
We highly recommend ride sharing or the use of public transportation. while attending events at the Conservatory. If you would like to use a shuttle service, please let us know in advance to confirm a pick-up or drop-off location.
Limited street parking is available on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Bowling Green Drive, Nancy Pelosi Drive, Fulton Street, and other surrounding streets.
The Music Concourse Parking Garage is within walking distance of the Conservatory. For the hours and for additional information http://goldengateparking.com/. Valet service can be utilized with prior approval and permitting through SF Rec and Parks.
