Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead)

In honor of El Día de Los Muertos, or The Day of the Dead, you are invited to create a mask and decorate it using beautiful natural materials from the Children’s Garden. This special holiday celebrates the annual return of the spirits of departed loved ones.

Bring a small picture of a deceased loved one, and then make a niche frame from eucalyptus bark or paper.  Decorate your creation using flowers and leaves from the Children’s Garden to honor your beloved.
