About the Program
Join us for a fun-filled morning of discovery in the garden! Feathered Friends Garden Adventure is a hands-on experience designed for families to explore the world of birds and express their creativity through nature-based art. Taught by art educator and avid San Francisco birder Nancy Palmer, this class blends science and creativity in a welcoming, family-friendly setting.
Begin the morning with birdwatching basics, then head into the garden to observe feathered friends in their natural habitats. After the walk, settle in for a creative art session using natural materials and inspiration from what you’ve seen.
Whether you’re spotting birds in the treetops or creating bird-inspired artwork, this class connects kids and parents with nature in a fun and meaningful way. Bring your curiosity, your binoculars, and get ready to explore, create, and learn together!
