Family Programming by Sixth Station Trio
A nautical themed odyssey with Sixth Station Trio through a variety of classical music

Sixth Station Trio is a professional violin, cello, and piano trio based in San Francisco, CA.
They play an expansive variety of music ranging from Western classical music, film scores, video game music, and even pop. Sixth Station Trio debuted at San Francisco’s historic Grace Cathedral in May of 2023 to a sold-out concert, featuring music from the films of Studio Ghibli.
Since their debut, Sixth Station Trio has performed many more performances at Grace Cathedral, Old First Concerts, SF Botanical Garden’s Flower Piano Festival, and SF Japantown’s annual Cherry Blossom Festival. They have been featured in the San Francisco Chronicle’s Datebook, SF Gate, San Francisco Classical Voice, The Richmond Review/Sunset Beacon, San Francisco Examiner, San Francisco Travel, and KTVU Channel 2 News.

Although they are newly formed, the members of Sixth Station Trio have been playing chamber music together since their high school years at Ruth Asawa San Francisco School of the Arts, and through their time pursuing undergraduate and graduate degrees at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.
The musicians recently recorded their debut album of Ghibli essentials, available to stream fall 2024.
Sixth Station Trio strives to keep classical music relevant to the general public, as well as to bring accessible classical music to the community of San Francisco and the Bay Area.

Attendees will have access to beverages and snacks from local food makers and enjoy a private concert series in our all-ages Celebration Garden event! Includes general admission for Flower Piano.
