About the Program

Enjoy a member-exclusive, after-hours tour of the Japanese Tea Garden led by San Francisco City Guides. Explore its rich history, discover distinctive features such as the iconic arched drum bridge, pagoda, and dry landscape garden, and experience the beauty of the Japanese Tea Garden bathed in a warm, golden evening glow. 

Due to the uneven terrain, this experience may not be suitable for infants or young children, and portions of the trail are not stroller accessible. Light refreshments will be provided.
