Since retiring in 2015 from the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy Jane has been devoted to civic engagement. Besides the San Francisco Botanical Garden, she currently serves on the boards of the Chinatown Community Development Center, Friends of Roots and the Chinese Historical Society of America (CHSA). Most recently Jane was (volunteer) Interim Executive Director at CHSA.
Born and raised in San Francisco Jane is an experienced senior manager and human resource professional with a proven track record in establishing human resources, facility operations and administration functional business units.
In her career Jane held several positions in human resources, nonprofit management and in the banking industry in New York City and San Francisco. Jane holds a Master of Social Work and a BA in History from San Francisco State University. She is married. Jane and her husband have two children who work and live in New York City.
