Janine Guillot
Board Member
Janine Guillot is an experienced financial services leader and expert on sustainability and climate-related financial disclosure. She is the former CEO of the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB). She is recognized for driving SASB to become the leading tool for investor-focused corporate sustainability disclosure, and she was one of the leaders of the global effort to create the International Sustainability Standards Board.
Prior to joining SASB, Janine led a distinguished career in financial services. She served as Chief Operating Investment Officer for the California Public Employees’ Retirement System (CalPERS) where her responsibilities included governance & sustainability, Chief Operating Officer for the European and Global Fixed Income businesses of Barclays Global Investors (now BlackRock), and executive management roles at Bank of America.
Janine is an experienced non-profit director and currently serves on the Board of ReFED, a nonprofit focused on catalyzing evidence-based solutions for food waste. She also serves on Neuberger Berman’s Sustainable Investing and Stewardship Advisory Council and on the Advisory Boards of the Energy and Environment Alliance and Blockchain Coinvestors. She is a Senior Advisor to the Boston Consulting Group (BCG). She previously served on the Climate-related Financial Risk Advisory Committee to the US Financial Stability Oversight Council, the Board of Directors of Equilibrium Capital, and the Board of the Marin Agricultural Land Trust.
In recognition for leadership at the intersection of sustainability, accounting and finance, Janine was selected as a 2020 and 2021 NACD Directorship 100 Honoree and named to the 2020 Business Insider’s 100 People Transforming Business list.
Janine joined the GGGP Board in 2025.
