Lisa Serwin

Lisa brings nearly two decades of experience with both start-ups and established organizations in the healthcare, consumer product and retail sectors; including for and not-for-profit Board experience. She has touched most positions in the C-suite, from CFO to COO to CEO. Lisa ran the Commission on Medical Research, Education and Training for the State of Nevada and received a State Proclamation from Governor Guinn for her efforts. She holds an M.B.A. from Loyola Marymount University and B.A. from U.C.L.A.

Most recently, Lisa co-launched C-Sweetener, a nonprofit that helps match senior women in healthcare with mentors so they can thrive in C-suite leadership positions. Lisa was named “one of the top 20 women in finance” to add to your board by Business Insider. Lisa has financial expertise, including a track record and understanding of how to monitor company risk, ensure the integrity of the company’s financial statements and internal controls, and oversee the performance of the independent auditor and the company’s compliance with laws. She has strategic expertise as a leader in understanding and envisioning company’s strategic growth opportunities and is experienced in M&A, partnerships and other business opportunities, as well as in broadening the opportunities available.

Lisa is a seasoned executive who has worked in very large public companies, small start-ups, and many in between. She has experience both domestically and internationally and has served on not-for-profit and private boards.
