Rachael Moore is a Principal at KPMG LLP and a national co-leader of the firm’s Research Credit Services practice. Based in San Francisco, she brings more than 15 years of experience advising companies on complex tax matters, helping organizations document and secure federal and state tax benefits under rigorous examination.
A recognized thought leader in her field, Rachael is a frequent author and speaker for professional organizations including the American Bar Association (ABA), Tax Notes, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and the Tax Executives Institute (TEI).
Rachael is deeply committed to strengthening community institutions within San Francisco and is honored to support the mission Gardens of Golden Gate Park. She has spent countless hours volunteering with other seminal organizations across the city, including Compass Family Services, Project Open Hand, and many more. She joins the Board of the Gardens with a commitment to leading the next chapter of the organization’s success and excited to build upon the incredible and awe-inspiring work that has brought the organization to this moment.
Originally from Houston, Rachael loves to travel and spent a year teaching in Daegu, South Korea prior to moving to the Bay. When not working or volunteering, Rachael can be found exploring different neighborhoods in search of the best dumplings in the city or hiking with her husband and their extremely spoiled golden retriever around the Presidio.
