Sarah Ryan
Board Chair
Sarah Ryan graduated with a B.A. in Literature from Scripps College in Claremont, California. Following graduation, she worked with Lotus Development Corporation in Boston and with a small lobbying and communications firm in Washington, D.C. Since then, Sarah has spent most of her time raising three children in Singapore and Marin County, California. During those years she has been a community volunteer and advocate. She served on the Board of Directors of Adopt A Family of Marin, a homelessness prevention agency, for 8 years, two of which were as Board Chair. Sarah was an active member of the National Charity League for 11 years and served as Chapter President. Sarah is currently a Trustee of the Belvedere Community Foundation, a member of the Marin Garden Club and of the Ross Auxiliary of the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco and a docent at the San Francisco Botanical Garden. Sarah became the Board Chair for the Gardens of Golden Gate Park in July 2023.
