Zane Gresham
Board Member
Zane joined the Board in 2022, after serving as a partner in the international law firm Morrison & Foerster LLP for forty years. He was attracted to the Gardens of Golden Gate Park by the unique combination of historic significance, botanical excellence, and commitment to community service. His professional experience includes resolving complex land use and regulatory issues, creating biopharmaceutical and corporate campuses for international enterprises, and guiding airport and water public/private partnerships in the US and internationally. He acted as pro bono counsel to The Nature Conservancy on projects such as the Three Parallel Rivers in Yunnan, China, the Lewa Conservancy in Kenya and the Komodo National Park in Indonesia.
He has served on the boards of Grace Cathedral of San Francisco, Foundation for San Francisco’s Architectural Heritage, Francisco Park Conservancy, and National Youth Science Foundation, and as a member of the Advisory Council of the Conservatory of Flowers.
He received his BA from The Johns Hopkins University, and his JD (magna cum laude) from Northwestern University School of Law.
