Members of the Gardens’ Leadership Circle are invited to a special after-hours reception in the Japanese Tea Garden, the oldest operating public Japanese garden in North America. Stroll the new pathway that wends its way through the Sunken Garden. Enjoy a performance by the contemporary dance company, Sharp & Fine. And toast the Gardens with like-minded supporters over an evening of sushi and libations on the beautifully restored Pagoda Plaza.
About Sharp & Fine Sharp & Fine is a San Francisco-Based contemporary dance company co-founded in 2011 by sisters Megan and Shannon Kurashige to facilitate choreographic work that grows out of a shared history of experience in both classical ballet and contemporary dance and a desire for deep collaboration with artists from different disciplines.
