Easy Garden Sketching: Japanese Tea Garden with Eileen P. Goldenberg

Description

Please meet near the Japanese Tea Garden main entrance kiosk by 9:45am.

You will sketch the Stone Lanterns in the SF Japanese Tea Garden. There are quite a few scattered around the gardens and they are all different and interesting to sketch!

Eileen will show you how to simplify shapes to make them easier to draw. Then you will look for shadows and details. Lastly, you will add watercolor. This is a relaxing way to start to observe the world around you and record as you go.

Your FREE sketch kit will include everything you need to start your sketch practice. If you have taken one of Eileen’s classes before and would prefer to get a different kit, she can bring you a sketchbook and a Fountain pen with permanent ink. When you register send an email to epgoldenberg3344@gmail with you name, date of class, and a request for the #2 Sketch kit.

This class is open to anyone ages 7 years or older who has a desire to sketch. Please be aware that no matter the age, everyone must register.
