Friday, September 11, 2026 4-7:30pm San Francisco Botanical Garden — Celebration Garden
The Pacific Jazz Group
Performing from 5-7pm
Led by iconoclastic entertainer and incomparable renegade pianist Dred Scott, the Pacific Jazz Group takes its name and inspiration from the LA-based Pacific Jazz Label of the 1950s and 60s.
To hear Dred Scott tell it, their music is reminiscent of “driving down Highway 1 on a sunny day, of Golden Gate Park, of the beautiful redwoods of Muir Woods and Big Sur, of concerts by the sea on a Sunday afternoon. […] it was the soundtrack for my time in Oakland and San Francisco.”
