Conservatory of Flowers — Orchid Pavilion
About the Program
Temperatures in the Orchid Pavilion are weather dependent. You are encouraged to bring extra layers.
Take part in a 75-minute beginner/intermediate Hatha Vinyasa Yoga class led by Sola Habibi. Sola creates a welcoming container for students to feel seen, cared for, and deeply connected. Students can expect thoughtful sequencing to enhance focus, balance, resilience, and flexibility, as well as breath work, and philosophy to connect deeper to the yogic tradition. Please bring a water bottle and your own yoga mat (or 2 if you would like extra padding for the cement floor surface).
About the Instructor
Sola Habibi has devoted 15 years to the practice of yoga, and in 2023 completed a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in Goa, India. Drawing from traditional Hatha, Ashtanga, and Restorative lineages, Sola integrates philosophy as well as postures into each session. With sensitivity and attentiveness, they design classes that meet the specific needs of the students present. Through conversation, movement, meditation, breath work, and chanting, Sola guides students in cultivating strength, resilience, and focus — while also learning to release, relax, and reconnect with the present moment.
Their sessions are accessible to all, and intentionally provide an inclusive space for fat, neurodivergent, differently-abled, BIPOC, queer, trans, and gender non-conforming individuals to move toward stillness, well-being, and alignment with their higher selves.
