Monthly Plant Sales at San Francisco Botanical Garden

Once a month, the Plant Shop hosts a plant sale featuring a particular plant theme.

What makes the Monthly Plant Sale so special? On a daily basis, the Plant Shop is well-stocked with a wide selection of beautiful plants, and staff and volunteers are on hand to offer advice. But on the weekends of Monthly Plant Sales, plant enthusiasts can enjoy special expanded plant offerings based on the monthly theme.

For example, the November Plant Sale featured hardy types of ferns such as Anthurium, Blechnum, Dryopteris, Asplenium, Platycerium, and Adiantum. In October, the Plant Shop highlighted Dry Gardens and featured plants such as Grevilleas, Leucadendron, Leucospermum, cactus, succulents, and California native plants.

All of the plants are selected to pique your interest and a mix of outdoor plants, houseplants, and plants that are perfect for your windowsill are available.

December 12-13: Holiday Sale

February’s Monthly Plant Sale will feature herbs and medicinal plants.
