San Francisco Botanical Garden — Meet at Main Gate
About the Program
Join Eileen in one of the only gardens in the San Francisco Botanical Garden that was designed strictly for aesthetic appeal. Have fun sketching the subdued hues of its flowers and its large, grassy expanses. Eileen will teach participants how to simplify shapes, look for shadows and details, and add watercolor to their sketches. This class is a relaxing way to observe and record the world around you.
Your comprehensive sketch kit will include everything you need to start your sketching practice. The kit includes a sketchbook, pen, pencil, water brush, binder clip, paper towel, and watercolors. You may also bring your own sketching materials.
If you have taken a class with Eileen and would like Sketch kit #2, which is a sketchbook and a fountain pen, email Eileen at epgoldenberg3344@gmail.com. Please send the date and name of the class you are taking.
This class is appropriate for ages 7 and up. All participants must register regardless of age. Please bring your own folding chair or stool.
