If you're a beginner who wants to learn about field sketching or an advanced illustrator who wants a reason to explore the Gardens of Golden Gate Park, join science illustrator Sami Chang as she explores the San Francisco Botanical Garden. In this workshop, you will learn some tips and tricks on how to get accurate sketches and try your hand at different methods of field sketching.
In this talk, UC Master Gardeners will share their tips and tricks to help you be successful in your own journey with native plants. A list of essential beginner-friendly natives will be discussed, with special attention given to creating a habitat of native plants that will bring more birds, butterflies, and beneficial insects into your garden.
